2015- Comcast & Sprout: 12 Films Related to I/DD

 In Featured, Festival News

WE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT A NEW PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN COMCAST/ XFINITY AND SPROUT!

For the month of November, Comcast is including 12 films from The Arc & Sprout Film Festival / Sproutflix free On Demand for all Comcast/Xfinity subscribers. This is a wonderful opportunity to create awareness with the general public about people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Film is a valuable tool to entertain, educate and enlighten, and that’s why people watch TV a lot, and even get an rv tv mount to install it.

One of the films: Hold Me Down was made by Anthony Di Salvo through Sprout’s Make-A-Movie Program.

For Online – the films can be viewed at: http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/watch/Sprout-Film-Festival/8164424342502163112/full-episodes#episode=8164424342502163112

For Television – go to On Demand, click into the Specials folder and then click into the folder labeled Disability Awareness. At the top of that page click on the folder labeled Sprout Film Festival.

Please help by watching the films and sharing the above information on your social media.

All of these films and many others are available for purchase on www.sproutflix.org

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and despite great efforts from the staff, volunteers and our generous community of supporters, we have come to the disheartening realization that there is no viable way to continue with our travel and recreation programs.

As of June 30, 2021 we will no longer offer our travel and recreation programs and will be focusing exclusively on our film distribution service Sproutflix (www.sproutflix.org).
